Ok how are yall stopping this nonsense QB rollout cheese? Defenders aren’t responding, looking like they don’t know what’s going on. has anyone found a reliable way to stop this or do we wait for a patch
In for answers had one dude torch me with this smh no contains work or spy's nothing
I have has some success in 335 defense. Shift your d line to the side of qb throwing hand use contain and when they play starts click the right stick to send the spy after the qb. Then try to figure out what he cheese routers are which are usually crossers of corner route with a drag under neather. Try to use mid or hook zone to cover two receivers. Hope this helps.

The key is mixing in a QB spy (either DE or LB) and then when the QB gets outside the pocket, use R stick to send the spy. This limits their time to get a pass off and keep coverage and also limiting playmaker. Not perfect but similar issue as we have seen in Madden for years.
I actually see better response by the CB's and SS than I ever saw in Madden to balls thrown on the run.
I just hope EA doesn't try to fix this by adding more abilities
I use 3-3-5 and blitz the OLB on the side the user mainly goes to (either always same side or on the wide side). I don't find QB spy or QB contain to be as effective for me.
It causes decent pressure and likely a throw on the run...which is what I want with an 85 QB and 3 safeties on the field.

I still usually click for the spy but I tried this on the goal line and it worked well.
I'm one of the dreaded D-line users so I assign my RE to spy and I rush from the opposite side with my LE to force the QB to the spy side with a bunch of varying coverages including match. I may also drop another linemen into coverage as well. I prefer staying with 4 linemen so the QB can't opt to run the ball up the middle with ease.
