Does tac matter

Hey guys I'm confused so I play on placement and accuracy and players like denard robinson missed every throw for me wide open getting reds does tac matter cause I think it's very important  general booty plays great 4 me and so did trevor lawrence and winston I keep hearing ppl say it's only for simulation games or it dosent matter  does anyone know thanks

I don't think anyone really knows, to be honest. I've heard it only matters on Placement, it only matters on Placement and Accuracy, it doesn't matter at all, It's only for simulation games, etc...

Personally, I think it matters a little bit, but not drastically enough to affect the use of a QB. Jayden Daniels only has 11 TAC but I haven't heard anyone mention him being bad. Denard has 23 TAC but he also has sub 90 TAS and TAD so I don't know if the missed throws are due to low TAC or if it's because he doesn't hit the 90 threshold for TAS and TAD. 

My best guess on what it actually does is it affects how accurate they are when you perform pass leads or try to place the ball outside of a normal throw window. If you're throwing a drag and you don't try to adjust where the ball is going, I don't think TAC will play a roll at all. However, if you're throwing a drag and you try to pass lead it behind your WR to avoid a defender that's out if front of him, it may be inaccurate. Again, that's just my theory, but I have no concrete proof that it's what it does. 

I've used guys with high TAC (Brady Cook/General Booty), guys with Average TAC (Jaxson Dart/Quinn Ewers) and guys with lower TAC (Manziel). They all missed throws I felt like they shouldn't have as well as threw some of the nastiest dead accurate passes I've ever seen, so who really knows if it matters at all. Until EA actually confirms what it does, I'm going to assume it plays a roll somewhat, but it won't make or break a QB.

Same can be said for certain traits. I've heard everyone rail against any QB who has Paranoid as their Senses Pressure Trait. But some my favorite QBs I've used this year (Dart and Brady Cook) have the Paranoid trait and it hasn't affected how they play at all. I genuinely believe that trait is sim based only, but again, I have no evdience of that, just my personal experience using guys with it and not having issues while under pressure.

I second this reply. I sure wish EA would, you know, communicate exactly how all this works.

Also, I use Dart and personally he has been the best QB I've used.

We don’t even know if it’s a real stat or something this site makes up. EA hasn’t clarified any of these things. I believe it’s real and does affect QBs during DDA and RNG events. Just my thought.

I don't think it really matters. Do they throw a tight spiral or not? That all I care about.
