I'm I tripping? Idk if it's just me but it feels like this game has gone through a huge shift since around Christmas time. The reason I don't feel like i'm trippin is because I see other posts from players about DDA wayyyy more than before. I'm on this site often. Something just doesn't feel right. I can't put an exact finger on it, whether it would be Reggie Bush running on quicksand against significantly slower players, or just a bunch of flukiness, or the worst one I've experienced yet, bailing my opponents out with their blatant mistakes while i'm forced to play perfect as whenever I make a mistake, I'm punished for it. Look before you talk about "skill this, or you just suck" listen man, i get it. I'm not saying you can't win games and be good. But it's like, the bar for the skill gap has just shifted like crazy. I would consider myself a very good player at this game. I've won my gauntlet numerous times, get my 18 wins in champs nearly every week, and my seasons record is 702- 170 with 44 nattys. (TreyShhlongz is my GT if you want to check). But the past 2 gauntlets, I have not got my 9. The past couple of weeks, everything has been significantly more difficult for me. But why? It can't be that people all of a sudden just get better man. I'm losing to opponents that, not to sound like a dkhead, i'm just blatantly beter than. The readss they make, their playcalling, clock management, are all tells of that. But the RNG is just getting absolutely out of hand. I drop so many interceptions that can seal the game or carry my momentum. But constantly my opponents get life. And the minute I make a mistake i pay for it? I'm a human. I cannot play perfect every snap. And in a game like football, where one play can change the game, it's absolutely demoralizing to sit through hours of this damn game where every 5 minutes I sigh because of "BS." Let's face it you guys know exactly what im talking about lol. It doesn't make me want to play anymore. If you're a comp guy like me and your "fun" comes from beating your opponents (everybody plays the game for different reasons, not knocking you if you just play casually) it sucks the fun right out. I understand that DDA has been in the game for years. But this year, this game's already "arcady" nature on top of the state of the gameplay right now makes it completely unenjoyable for a comp guy like me, Which, i won't say the arcade-like nature doesnt have its pros. It can be more fun for people especially casuals who are looking for a fun experience. But it's absolutely been a horrific experience for people who like to win and are a more competitive. Because RNG killssss skill gap. Look at FPS games. The skill gap is there because, your success depends on your aim and everything is up to you. Imagine playing COD and you snipe someone with a clear body shot jsut for the shot to not register thus you don't get rewarded for your accurate shot? That's absurd right? But that is what this game feels like with the dropped interceptions and other random BS that keep the ball game closer than it needs to, which eventually you will face someone good enough to beat you, when it really should'nt have been close to begin with. Do you guys understand where i'm coming from? I almost just want to sell my team and come back when platinum abilities are all over the field because at least with knockouts and more consistent abilities, I'm actually rewarded for my adjustments and user input. I know you can still be good at this game. But some people have more patience than others. More tolerance. Lately for me, not so much. Please let me know your guys thoughts, as this is a rant i had to let out of my chest
There’s a lot of people who played madden predominantly all year switching games since then and more continuing to change now the madden season is over.
Yeah you're not wrong. Ratings just do not matter anywhere near what they should. It's probably not even anything big or crazy DDA wise, as much as I feel like the "equal team" switch is flipped on behind the scenes. Like almost nothing matters matchup wise, player or scheme-wise aside from people trying to cheese AI logic. It's defintely gone downhill from the start of the year.
I just watched the new Will Johnson get posterized by Flanagan lol…DDA is strong! Lol
I think the DDA acts as a handicap when players are matched up. Because I’ve had it go both ways myself. Lost to people I shouldn’t have lost to & beaten people I had no business beating.
