The TAC stat does matter but it depends on your passing type. If you’re on Placement and Accuracy the stat means nothing. But if you’re just on Placement then you’ll notice the difference between qbs with low TAC stat vs the ones with Medium to High.

I definitely believe this. I play on Placement and am currently using Jaxson Dart who has 83 TAC. He's pretty consistent but will occasionally miss one. Before him, I was using Johnny Manziel with 40 TAC and he would a lot more passes especially if you tried to pass lead them at all.
