Not sure where the assumption that DDA=Free wins for lower overalls came from. If DDA exists (I believe it does in some sense), it's not just pumping out free wins for lower overall teams, it's about equalizing a game to prevent it from getting out of hand or to keep things close in a tight game.
An example of DDA would be you're up by 10 in the 4th, your opponent has the ball with 2 minutes left, and suddenly his guys catch every single thing thrown within a 5 yard radius regardless of how good the coverage is, his RB breaks multiple tackles, and his QB is able to wiggle out of a key sack attempt on 3rd down.
Don't get me wrong, there are times where I will play a lower overall team (say a 92 or so) and they will absolutely dominate my 94 overall team. I'm talking 90 overall DE's instashedding my 95 OT, 92 speed WRs burning my 95 speed CB, a 90 speed HB bursting out of the backfield and breaking multiple tackles, but I have to assume that despite these 90/92s not being the best cards in the game, most of them still have good enough stats and they can make plays. I don't believe that's a DDA thing at all. If you're good enough, you can win with a lower team, it will just be harder.
If DDA existed to give lower overall teams an advantage, EA wouldn't make any money since no one would bother upgrading other than overall hunters.
I believe that lower teams are given ābreaksā at times to keep them in the game. I played last night and had 4 fumbles in one game. The other guy was not good and had a lower team but whatever you call it kept it close till he quit late in the 4th. 95 cards with high carry should not fumble multiple times especially with workhorse.

that last part, itās exactly the opposite. When bad players with bad teams are given unfair advantages And they win games they clearly shouldnāt win, it makes them want to spend money to get a better team as they think it would help them win even more. Itās a very simple business tactic for increasing customer base while retaining what you already have. People that play a lot and spend a lot will keep spending regardless. If EA came out and said it exist, the mode would instantly die. EA denies dda existence, yet has a patent and been sued by pro fifa players. Winning the criminal case but settling outside of court in civil case. If there were no wrong doing why would EA pay money and have them sign NDAās? Itās all over Reddit donāt be naive.

Maybe it's just the way my brain works and I'm in the minority. If I was winning games consistently with a 91 overall despite my opponents being 93+, I most likely would just hoard coins and/or players and only upgrade when stuff got cheaper and I sure as hell wouldn't pump money into the game, but again, maybe that's just me.
