People that are good at using the switch stick are nearly unbeatable.

I was a 95 overall team playing a 90 overall guy.

I know the game well at this point and usually don't struggle too hard even against other god squads.

But this dude... cover 3 sky every single time and just was pure psychic on his reads. Every time I had an open guy, the second I would wind up to start my throwing motion he would switch stick to the defender and move into position to pick it off.

This is a skill that I regret finding difficult and hard to master because I swear it is an absolute game changer if you're on a budget team.

Yeah switch stick is great but it's unlikely he read who you were throwing to every single time, unless it was the only wide open receiver every time. Likely some DDA assisting his coverage as he was 5 overalls below you. Theoretically your receivers probably could've ran circles around his DBs based off speed and COD alone. 

I'll bet he was constantly getting pressure with a bad Dline and your Dline wasn't getting any pressure on his QB as well.

Let me guess your receivers maybe dropped some open passes, ball carriers maybe fumbled a couple times, linebackers felt like they were too slow to take a normal pursuit angle?

switch stick is bad for the game........switch stick covers up for bad defense

I got great pressure on him when I was on defense but let me tell you... couldn't do SHIT on offense. I rage quit. That DDA stuff is such bullshit.

It's easily one of the worst features they've ever added. It allows bad players to bail themselves out of bad defense, and great players can just spaz around the field and cover it all. 

It never needed to be added. A good idea in concept, but once you see it in practice, it's awful.

all yall complaining about switch stick are just bad. its so nice being able to have basically multiple users, you can still aboslutely get open, a 95 vs 90 should be able to run the ball 100% of the time and win but you can still absolutely pass

I agree, switch stick is a great feature. There is nothing more frustrating then spamming circle and pointing in the direction you want to switch hoping you switch to the DB closest to a wide open man. It's a great feature to make up for CPUs making bonehead coverage mistakes like a corner leaving the flats wide open or a safety doubling an out route leaving  a post wide open. 

The only complaint I have is when you pre snap decide to blitz a LB (Ik you can change their assignment if you have them selected pre-play). Often times ill decide last second to pass rush and time the snap perfect, be a foot from the qb, attempt a hit stick and switch stick back to another coverage man and the LB who is 1 foot from the QB decides to backpedal back to a mid read zone lol.

probably more DDA than switch stick lol

Thats why a lot of people just tote the ball and use options and RPO's. It is MUCH harder to get a user blockshed than to get a pick in this game

Play an MLB in pass coverage, defend your assignment for the first 2 seconds (RB routes, crosser/slants and curls) then look deep, see who is going to be open (is a receiver runnning a deep corner underneath the safety? Flick your right stick up to that safety and haul ass to intercept that receiver. Is there a streak going deep that your safety is 15 yards to the side of? Sounds like something I’d be terrible at doing lol, But I’ll give it s shot.

Switch stick is absolutely a skill, and the amount of DDA rants on here is a bit excessive.

I am not a switch stick user myself and therefore I'm generally capped at about 13-15 wins in champ mode, have yet to hit 16.  

I'm more of a weekend warrior so so be it, but to knock guys who can use it effectively is just being salty about it.
