What am I doing wrong?

I'm not a H2H person at all. I play single player stuff. I'm not gud. I'm ok with that. However I'm playing these H2H bowl games to get two wins every day. And with enough time and games, two wins isn't a problem.

So here's my issue. I sometimes call streaks and on a play, my WR has his man beat running down the field. I'll throw a deep pass (NOT a bullet pass) AND lead him downfield but 7/10 times it gets picked off either from the DB chasing him or from another DB who was way off to the side (and behind). So what am I doing wrong leading an open man downfield with Booty as a QB (my one and only good pull all year of a BND Booty).

Two things.

1.  On a streak you need to release the ball right when your WR is about to beat the DB.    Don’t wait until he’s already beat him or the DB will catch up, especially if they’re using ballhawk (which most are).

2.  Make sure your are using the high ball animation (L1 when throwing it).

Appreciate this! I'll certainly do some testing in the solo challenges.

You don't even need to win  just finish 2 games hope the other guy quits get the stadium and token and i'm out. The fun part about this mode is i win so much more not caring than i do while trying.

Really? I've never gotten credit except for a win, which includes my opponent conceding.

I'm testing it out now. Going to finish a full game and see. That would make sense as I've run into three people who ran QB kneel plays until 4th down. I thought it was a bot.

Yeah man i suck at H2H even with one of the best teams possible.. Just try backing out after you finish and give it a minute to drop.

Sure enough. Just finished a full game, took my L, but also got the token. Thanks for letting me know. Playing two full games will be faster than me scrambling for two wins. (sad) lol

I second this. I am pretty average at h2h but in the bowl challenges im trying new playbooks and plays and I end up winning more than I anticipated. I even got a rage quit after two runs out of flexbone.

Thanks for this tip I have the same issue. I never though about using L1

Yeah always use L1 to get pass over defenders head, it helps to throw away from defender or safety help down the field, stops those interceptions

this, you just have to finish the game. if you quit it doesn't give you the packs.

Weird answer here, but try out the triple option (Navy playbook), u only need 2 pass like 5 times a game, all u need is good rb
