I’ve played thousands of games of college football and the amount of cheese plays that have been put in this game that can’t be stopped or adjusted to without getting destroyed on an easy offensive adjustment is astounding. Having a 99 overall defense, that cannot stop one single place game is incredible. It really gives me hope in life that if the developers have gotten this far being this dumb, I can make it in life with half cooked ideas as well. But the absolute worst play is the direct snap, I can run that play 100 times and not lose a single yard. Doesn’t matter the defensive adjustments doesn’t matter that my defense is a 99 overall they act like they’ve never played football before the linebackers and defensive backs are in quicksand and literally cannot move While the running back is speeding by everyone. How could a developer in good conscience test this play and think to themselves yeah this is great. does anyone else feel this way?
i’d like to add as someone who played college football. This is a play in real life that is rarely used at any level because of the effectiveness of it. However, the effectiveness in the game is literally 100%. It is more of a guarantee than quarterback, sneak. It is truly incredible that there’s not a single football guy in that developer squad that has some logic to bring to the conversation when creating run pass option plays, and direct snap plays.
