Even packs are ass, and you lose ~80%
Each regular season national championship you get makes about 20K coins with bad card pulls, sometimes I’ll get lucky and get a rare card in one of the field goal packs. Takes just over an hour to complete the entire thing. I just chew clock and kick one field goal before halftime and then chew clock the entire 2nd half and don’t score again.
Yeah the rewards for playing the game are horrible. A lot of people work the auction house and make coin, but with the limited time I have I prefer to play H2h, just sucks when the rewards are so much worse than not playing the game at all lol.

Solo Seasons All American and Auction House basically your only free options. Then you always have EA's ( Do not recommend) preferred coin method... PACKS
I agree with OP, it is absurdly difficult to build up coins in CUT, compared to MUT's past versions. With 90% of the cards you end up with being BND you just can't flip much on the AH.

just buy cards when auction house crashes, then sell when prices bounce back up, market used to always crash on Friday's when Ultimate Alumni promo was going on during season 1, now during season 2 the friday promo is shit so the best time to buy cards appears to be during the field phenoms wednesday releases
another easy way to make coins this past weekend was the jimmy horn jr set, just buy the pieces for under 300k and you could easily sell the card for 350-370k, you just have to make sure to pick the right team in the kickoff pack based on which player is the best and should sell for the most
Legends packs-
spend 95k, lose 80k. And that’s the norm.
Wow that’s record low, even for EA
And when you buy packs you’re getting the low lows and minimums 99% of the time.
Refunds from my bank incoming
I've made a lot of coins buying and selling the same players. Once you get familiar with the price range, you just buy on the low end... Wait till night time and post for alot more.
I've sold so many 84 centers for 70-110k and bought them for 30-60k.Same with WRs getting for 120-135k and selling for 175-185k (clemons) Doesn't have to be expensive cards, just need to find the cards that are often limited or extinct on the auction house.
Hope my ramblings helped someone lol
I mean if you can buy training and do re-rolls on release day, usually good ROI there. Maybe not a guaranteed profit, but Phenoms sell for quite a bit when the champs are good.
Agreed, I have just over 200k on CUT but I have 2.2M on mut. I think the big difference is lack of free rewards from challenges and lack of free packs. Most of the field pass or challenge rewards in cut are all bnd. So while they can mildly improve your team, its hard to get coins without working the auction house or endlessly playing online h2h
The only real way of making solid coins in season 2 is win gauntlet. last Sunday made me close to 3 mil.

Each time I tried that I got DC glitched or controller freeze glitched
I have been hoarding fg packs until I get 40+ then ripping. Have 20 now did it once before. My coin stack went from 800k to 1.65 after. the BND packs have been surprisingly very good for me so I fill the pack void with that in between ripping the fgs. i did have about 20 77-79+ conf packs, 2 victory and some Hail Marys as well and didn’t get much of anything from them. my major hit was pat Pete from fg when going for 500. So you need luck but the chance is there for a big fish in the fg packs. Love the game play in cfb compared to madden so hopefully the content improves
