My thread got derailed by plants and lazy tiny children.
Moving on EA needs to address this ability or again, the game will continue to be takeoff simulation

Whats the issue with takeoff i keep missing ?? My biggest is just getting quick snapped before I can make 4 adjustments in a matter of a second lol

It is starting to seem like unless you just play boring drop coverage all game and rely on the cpu then takeoffs are OP.
In several other games than my own, I’ve watched WRs blow right by DBs despite being at least 10 yards off the ball, even with faster DBs;
much like on the o line there isn’t much ability wise that you can AP afford to pay across the line to prevent QS or I/OD. There just isn’t good balance between these abilities and the player base needing them to compete let alone win.

Also, basically every game is whoever’s takeoff gets going scores.
Literally like my thread said it’s turning into takeoff simulator where kids are every play both sides of the ball just bombing to a takeoff hoping to get lucky. Boring as fuck and is turning into the stretch simulation madden was turning into;
EA has a pattern/ habit of this throughout the years

Its endgame season so honestly if ur not in the mood for boring, winning, football, you prolly need a break or new game.
I'm in a rarity as I run the ball religiously, I don't use takeoff. I use strong grips on my entire Oline, the rest on Cam Ward.
If drop coverage is boring, id highly recommend switching games. Abilities are levels more specific here then in mut so you can't just press zero blitz all game every game.

I don’t run man blitz really in any shape or form tbh. I found bumping them off the line is one of the few things to do but people suggest c4 drop all game and that’s what I mean by biting. C4 and takeoff all game every game sounds very unappealing. That’s my point. And that’s what this game is turning into. Much like madden and stretch a few years back

How is that strong grip line going? Do you run high motor only or high run block or what? Genuinely curious and interested as I like to run the ball

Defensively I live in a 4-3 Cover 3 hard flat. Always put Ray Lewis on a deep blue. I try to drop coverage disguise blitz, then bait them into a 5 hard flat quick throw pick. Not saying defense is easy, but it does take some iq more than pure ability. On offense. Yes strong grips is everything. I've stated on a mut forum cut can be super tough because of how specific abilities are here. Theres outside shield on top of strong grips, and even an option shield ability. If I see a zero blitz, I do an audible flip power option, motion the tight end different directions, the motion causes a particular shift that gives the option toss fantastic spacing for big yards if not the touchdown

Playing great d then on 4th and long I miss the takeoff bump and it’s a huge gain or touchdown. I do the same essentially. Rinse and repeat. I dont mind seeing c4 on O as I before stated like to run the ball. Strong grip was used early on and bronze was good.
May I ask who your o line is and what specifics you look for? I like talking line play
I know it’s not the goal of your thread, but a counter ability to takeoff is robber on your DBs. Takeoff gives WRs/TEs a boost off the line, but Robber helps the DB recover. Just in case you or anyone else didn’t know.
As for the rest of your post I get it. The game was a lot more diverse and enjoyable early on. Now everyone kinda plays the same. It’s stale until the next version comes out in July.

Ive been a maxed TT 50/50 air raid, 4-3m since Szn 1. Don't spend money so I've stayed low rated because I learned abilites are cheaper. Oline wise, the free Szn 3-4 LT, 96 overall. Scheme Spotlight LG dude named Slappy. Center is Gamechanger Cooper Mays as I love the heads up strategy card for the awareness boost. Any correlation to Madden is awareness ratings. Rg is the free dude from last Season, 98 overall. Rt is a Miami Hurricane filler, only a 92 overall..Cam Ward speaks for himself lol I throw when I need to. Strong grip works imo so definitely invest in it.

I love to press on defense so I don't have much actual issue with takeoff. Like ive stated, if dudes can see you can play defense with some IQ, they're gonna start quick snapping the F outta you, from that point on, it's about getting adjustments in in miniscual time lol

I know about robber and felt like it didn’t matter. I do very much appreciate the advice. I knew and know about most things to counter the takeoffs , that is part of the reason why I’ve made this thread(s). It’s just stale.

I’m more interested in gold than silver SG for the same AP amount. Also interested more for the run rather than pass blocking.
