For those of us that don't pay for add-ons and/or are not able to play H2H, is it possible to get enough points in the Graduation field pass to get James Harrison?
It should be, but for now we are depending on EA releasing more objectives.
None of the objectives require you to play H2H, but some of them only tracks in the graduation CPU event. You should be able to get James Harrison that way, but not until more XP-objectives are put in the game. I think we are currently looking at a weekly grind for another 3 weeks, but at least the objectives don't seem to expire.
I'm doing them weekly, but you could possible wait 3 weeks, and then do them all in one go, since they seem to be repeats, like "play 10 games" every week.

One of the objectives is only for H2H (win 3 games or something similar)
That said the Grad CPU event is pretty tough too.
Has anyone found a way to cheese the cpu games?
On offence look for quick routes. Slants, outs, and routes from the RB seems to work best. On defence, Midblitz and pray. Try and user one of the blitzers, and double the TE or slot WR. The CPU seems to prefer those short routes as well, and if you can cover the first look for 2 seconds, your pass rush should get home for a sack. If not, then it's prolly a TD or big gain, but it still seems the best strategy to me at least.
It varies a lot from game to game though. Sometimes I'm able to beat the CPU quite easily, and other times I get cooked lol.

Oh okay, my bad. I thought it only varied from "any game mode" and "graduation event", and not H2H specifically?
Should still be fine. ATQ is still alive, though maybe on life support by now.

Yeah I went 14-2 before falling at the last hurdle, I’m 3-0 this time so far vs CPU event.
I do similar on O. Not slants but multiple short crossers, TE and RB flats, occasional TE flag patterns. RB draws and inside zone runs. All of it gets way harder on levels 2 and 3 (after 10 wins).
On D I mix it up a lot, I’ve found single blitzer ok, varied zones and 2 high looks with 1 dropping down as a robber. yes certain games I’ve played a lot of double on the TE - as you say it loves the TE and slot. Deeper shots are a lottery, sometimes they work for the CPU and other times my guts get it. You have to protect the short to intermediate middle of the field a lot and those occasional darn QB outside scrambles with 99 speed and 99 trucking are annoying - bounce off 3 defenders for 18 yards 😂
.
I've been using a combo of RPO flat, HB direct snap. On the RPO flat, you can put the left side WR in motion towards the line and change their route to a speed out. This works well against the CPU, you can typically gain the edge and go all the way for a TD.
I loaded up a couple players and just spam plays to them.
On defence, i use mid blitz but to be honest it doesnt work that consistently. If CPU was to make a play, they will.
My personal strategy is no mercy. In CPU events, I would typically take my foot of the gas once I score, and then chew clock. But for this I'm scoring every time I can, not taking any chances with this cheezy CPU
They better drop some more challenges so we can actually get him before 27 drops.
I have been using Wide formations and really spreading them out. I won a game 42-0 last night. They are just too fast (at least for me) to run my option or condensed formations. Texas State....Tennessee.....Ole Miss are great ones IMO
Ted Ginn is a demon in the slot BTW

I wish they would give us another shot at a Valedictorian token. I haven't been able to get Mike Washington Jr. on the field yet.

Can you walk me through what you’re doing with the wide formations? Like what specific formations/plays have been working for you?

I also found success in the mid blitz and user on the slot or TE to take that read away.

I would get rid of the playaction for this event and I choose drags and crossing type patterns. Also a fast QB really helps, if nothing opens up I just take off and get 7-15 yards like that as well. Out of Texas State I like a lot on the Gun Wide, Gun Wide 5WR, WIde, Bunch Wide, Gun Wide Trips (triple slant gets open a lot for me). Beat them at their own game, hit the quick slants and those type of routes. Comeback routes work still just so long as the DB is playing off of your WR.
