Is theme team worth it?

I'm currently on 4-3, 50/50 chem. Defenders still get beat by slower cards. I'm thinking about just getting best player at each position now. Thoughts?

People love theme teams so they can be fun and add attribute to your players but since you don't get the coin back when you downgrade your players, I don't do it until we get closer to end game players. I am NMS so I need all the coin I can get.

I dont think its worth it on defense yet. Offense though i think has a lot of value. Im running pro set and for example players like ron dayne become a nightmare with 95 speed.

Best at position is the way to go until we are in the late stage of the game. I have 31 Spread and 30 4-2-5 because I like getting cards that fit my scheme but it becomes to pricey ill take the best non LTD or affordable LTD player. An example is I pulled Makai Lemon during rush a good spread player worth 2.2 mil at the time I sold got my 2.2 and bought Rocket same speed much less in value, it is the same reason I am using Vick when I want to use Jayden Daniels. Vick the lefty QB is 2 mil cheaper but his left-handedness hurts on certain plays like a screen to the right takes too long to get around I am taking a sack if I accidentally call that not thinking.
