Is the passing in this game just strange???

For reference I am really good with free forming in madden and I know how to throw on that game. Is there something different about this games passing(still on placement and accuracy)? 70% of throws are red or inaccurate. Also does the ball just float in the air for a long time for everyone else too? I feel that plenty of my "bullet" passes aren't anywhere near what a "bullet" pass should be

My guess is low overall’s with bad stats have something to do with the oddity of passing.

This hasnt happened for me but at the same time Malachi Nelson is like 82 OVR which is pretty good

You're not alone. Every pass is a floater. I'm using placement and accuracy and I swear I miss wide open guys sometimes. I've only been playing UT. I'm sure just like Madden 24 at the beginning, as the season goes on the stats will have players throw the ball better. I'm using Rising 79 OVR

I’m using the Joe burrow card and he throws absolute dots. I also have the placement and accuracy setting on too. I didn’t like their revamped passing meter thing.
