How to activate kicker abilites

I have bought abilities for a couple different kickers and cannot activate them in special teams abilities, any way around this glitch?

I finally got it to go through on Zane Gonzalez a while back. I think what I did was activated one ability, then went back in, removed it, then readded that one plus the 2nd ability I wanted and it finally saved.

For me it seems that the glitch only happens when adding the composure ability. I just activate the normal ability and then go back in and add the composure one to the kicker. It says 2 players active but only 4 ap used so idk if it actually works

So one thing I am noticing, is sometimes when you pull up the kicker there are 5 upgrade slots, then other times there are 4. So basically you just have to find a slot that doesnt dissapear when you close it. I have one active slot now, the 1 ap ability, but cant get any others to activate.
