H2H Ranked - Whos your champion?

Was able to reach Champion 1 today for the first time ever (this is my first time really playing ranked all year), and trying to decide which of the 3 champions to select from the reward pack.

I'm a big fan of Tac Davis, pulled his LTD in CUT25 and he was a beast for me, but I find it hard to accept this option since his key abilities are all 4 AP

Trey-Dez is a monster, but we've got so many great TEs lately, for example I'm currently rocking with Harbour and Pollack as my TE1 & 2, and both have been great with better discounted abilities

So Im leaning towards Gentry. His ability discount arent great either, but I find I dont really use any on my LBs, and at 6'6 he should be an awesome user even with no abilities

I'm keeping fingers crossed they update the abilities with better discounts, but probably wont see that happen.

Congrats on reaching that!!!!  My favorite from this drop is Green, but I love TEs and HBs.  But I totally get it if you have a lot already.

Haha truthfully it was more of a business decision, i pulled Pollacks TE card BND so stuck with him. I also had pulled Beasley’s TE card, but when Harbour came out and I saw his abilities at TE were better then his WR card, i made him my TE1, sold Beasley and put pollack into the lineup

The combo has been cooking for me in ranked

Someone just did weird stuff with Harbour as WR against me.  He literally just lobbed bombs and they were all complete it was weird.  Not even a nice 'high pass', just crappy lobs.  This card might be a cheat code because there was no reason why he was coming down with these as I had a tuned up Champ Bailey on him.

Yeah maybe there is something there. I'm using the TE version cause he gets cutter, but I could put him out at WR and test it. The combo of Stowers, Collinsworth and Harbour, along with Tate as my slot has been pretty solid for me, and with no cheese lob plays

Watching Slayin yesterday, he commented that he heard the Champion cards could be updated with better discounted abilities. Gonna have a big decision if thats true

Yah its really hard not to go this way, if he ends up with better discounted abilities that I'll have no choice

Thats normally as far as I get because I can't play enough games. If I could play enough I could reach top 100

But anyways I normally choose a defensive player. Main reason is you can put an offensive chem on them . Its helped me reach and keep 50/50 spread since ranked started, and also gives them a speed boost .

I think im going with tac Davis this time. Need a good tall corner with all those tall WRs thats out

Thanks, and yeah I cant imagine the time it would take to get the # of games played to finish top 100.

I only started ranked after first 10 days or so of May, hoping I'd avoid the sweatiest time, but I played some tough games in my 5 placement games, finished with a 1-4 record.

After that start I was pretty deflated and was gonna say forget it, but I started playing casually, 1-2 games per night, and actually went on a run of 17 wins in a row. I lost a close game I should have won, then won 5 in a row to get to champion I. Final record of 25-6.

And wow, I didnt know you could put offensive chems on these players. I'm definitely going with a defender, but waiting to see what final abilities look like.

Looks like they updated the champion cards to have 2 AP gold abilities. Gonna be trying to decide all week on which way to go.
